Broken Wheat Halwa - How to make Dalia Halwa
Try this quick and easy recipe to make delicious Broken Wheat Halwa.
Preparation & Cooking Time: 40 Minutes
Yield: 3-4 servings
Ingredients:
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - 1tsp
Dry Nuts - 2 tbsp chopped (cashew, raisins, almond)
Jaggery - 3/4 Cup (Increase as required)
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Water - 4 cups
Method:
1. Heat the Ghee in a Pressure cooker and fry raisins until
golden brown. Keep aside.
2. Add the broken wheat in the above ghee and roast it until
brown.
3. Add water, jaggery and sugar in it.
4. Now pressures cook it for 4-5 whistles. Give it a
rest for 5 mins.
5. Mix cardamom powder and serve it with dry nuts on top
of it.
