French Toast | Easy Eggy Bread Toast
Easy eggy bread toast.
Preparation & Cooking Time: 10 minutes
YIELDS: 5 SERVINGS
Ingredients:
Bread slice - 10(thick slice)
Bread slice - 10(thick slice)
Vanilla essence –1tbsp
Eggs – 4 beaten
Sugar –1 ½ tbsp
Milk – 1cup
Salt – a pinch
Icing sugar -3tbsp
Butter for toast
Method:
1. Mix egg, milk, vanilla essence, salt and sugar in a boil.
2. Heat fry pan and adds 1tbsp of butter to melt.
3. Soak bread slice in beaten egg mix and fry on both sides till golden brown.
4. Transfer to tissue paper to drain excess butter.
5. Serve hot with a dash of icing sugar and slice of butter or with some maple or chocolate syrup.
6. Best to have with tea, coffee as a toast.
7. Perfect for Breakfast with hash browns.
Note:
- Works good with without eggs, in such case add 4tbsps of plain flour.
- Pan should be hot enough before toasting the bread.
