Hot Oil

Hot oil is a side dish used in most of the Chinese Cuisines. Make this condiment easily and have a delicious Chinese feast.

Hot Oil



Oil - 1/2 cup
Garlic - 2 cloves (mince it)
Vinegar or lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
Dry Red chilli crushed - 2 tbsp.
Green chilli - 3 (Chop finely)
Ketchup - 1 tbsp.
Red chilli sauce - 1 tbsp.


  1. In a bowl mix half the garlic, ginger juice, ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar and green chilli.
  2. Heat oil to smoking hot. Add rest of the garlic and crushed dry chilli. 
  3. Once it sizzles, lower heat and add the above mixture (Don't forget to lower the heat before adding the mixture, else the flame may come up since the oil is smoking hot). Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Hot oil is ready. Serve this with any Chinese recipe.
