Low Carb Bottle Gourd Soup

Bottle Gourd is rich source of vitamin, iron and minerals. Its an awesome food for shedding extra calories and helps digestive problems. It is considered to reduce the cholesterol and treats good for heart related problems. Make this low carbohydrate healthy soup once in a week and keep your heart healthy.
Low Carb Bottle Gourd Soup
 YIELD –2 Servings


Bottle Gourd - 1/2 cup roughly chopped
Cauliflower - 2 florets
Tomato - 2 slices
Onion - 1 small grated
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Pepper Powder as per taste
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Chat Masala - for garnishing
Olive Oil -few drops


  1. Boil bottle gourd, cauliflower and tomato. Blend it well with blender until smooth paste
  2. Heat the few drops of oil in a sauce pad and add cumin n grated onion. Saute.
  3. Add the above prepared paste. Add water as required.
  4. Now add salt and pepper as per taste. Simmer for few minutes until get the proper soup consistency.
  5. Just before serving add lemon and sprinkle chat masala for garnishing.

NOTE:  You can add bean sprout to enhance more protein and make it more healthier.
