Methi Paratha / Thepla
YIELD: 10-12 Paratha
Ingredients:
Fresh Curd – 3 tbsp
Fresh Curd – 3 tbsp
Wheat Flour – 2 cups
Methi (Fenugreek leaves) – 1
cup finely chopped
Garlic – 2 pods finely
chopped
Red chili Powder – 2 tsp
finely chopped
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Hing – pinch
Salt as per taste
Oil
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a soft and smooth dough using water only if required. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Make even size small balls of the dough and roll them separately into a round shape.
- Roast them in both sides in flat tava (griddle) using little oil until golden brown.
- Serve Hot with curd and pickle.
NOTE:
* You can prepare theplas in different
variations using grated bottle guard or methi with bottle guard both together.
