Quick Rava Paniyaram

Quick rava Paniyaram is a ready in a jiffy sweet that you can serve your surprise guests or make when you need something to munch. Make this yummy sweet quickly and fill your tummy.

Quick Rava Paniyaram

YIELD – 15 to 16 Paniyarams


Rava-1 cup
Maidha - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Oil - to deep fry
Water - as required to make a batter that is of medium consistency


  1. Mix rava and maidha together. 
  2. Add water to it, stir well so that no lumps are formed and let it rest for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Mix again and check for lumps and add sugar and stir well so that no lumps are formed.
  4. Heat oil in a wok. Take about quarter cup of the batter and drop in the oil. 
  5. Fry by flipping it both the sides to golden brown. Drain the oil in an absorbant paper.
  6. Repeat this for all the paniyarams.
  7. The paniyarams are ready. Serve them hot.
