Cabbage Potato Curry

Cabbage potato curry is a regular dish prepared in almost all the Indian kitchen with different style and different variation. Here I am sharing my mom's style to cook this recipe. Try this simple recipe and taste different. 
Cabbage Potato Curry

 YIELD – 3 servings


Cabbage - 2 cups chopped
Potato - 2 medium size chopped
Tomato - 1 medium chopped
Salt as per taste
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Asafotedia - a pinch
Oil - 1 tbsp


  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan. 
  2. Add Mustard and Cumin seeds. When they stop fluttering add hing.
  3. Add washed and chopped potato with cabbage. saute for 2 mins.
  4. Add all spices. mix well and cook for few minutes.
  5. Add tomato and little water, cover the lid and cook until well cooked, stirring occasionally in between.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of Roti/Paratha
