On this Easter we are bringing special "Easter Egg" recipes for kids. Egg is used as a symbol of the start of new life, representing Jesus' resurrection. The custom of creating and giving out "Easter" eggs predates

Dry Fruit Eggs |
YIELD – 20 eggs
Ingredients:
Dates - 1 cup (choose very soft dates)Dried Fig - 1/4 cup (choose the soft Figs)
Mixed Dried Fruit - 1 cup (Cashew, Almond, Pistachio, Walnuts)
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Sugar vermicelli - 1/2 cup

- Remove the seeds of dates and chop it finely along with fig as well..
- Grind the mixed dry fruits in a mixer and make a smooth powder.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add dates and figs. Cook them for 5-7 mins until they are soft and tender. Mash them with the back of the spoon.
- When ghee start to leave, add mixed dry fruit powder. mix well and cook for few mins.
- Remove the mixture in a plate and allow it to cool down.
- Once it is cooled divide it into a 20 balls and give it a egg shape to each ball.
- Coat all eggs with colorful sugar vermicelli.
