Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer butter masala is an all time favorite for people of all ages. The creamy texture melts in our mouth with rotis and paratas. Make this yummy dish and serve your family.

Paneer Butter Masala



Paneer - 200 grams
Onion - 3
Tomato - 3
Cashew- 12
Garam Masala - 2 tsp.
Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp.
Sugar- 1 tsp.
Salt - as per taste.
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp.
Butter- 4 tbsp.
Oil - 4 tbsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp.
Coriander powder - 2 tsp.
Kasoori Methi crushed - 1 tsp.
Milk - 1/2 cup


  1. Heat oil and butter in a pan.
  2. Chop onions finely. Dice the paneer. Fry it in little oil.
  3.  Boil the tomato. Peel it and grind it once it cools.
  4. Grind the cashews to a paste.
  5. Add Chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and cook until raw smell disappears.
  6. Add chilli powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  7. Add milk and let it boil.
  8. Add cashew paste and saute.
  9. Add the tomato paste and let it boil.
  10. Add all the spice mixes, salt and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes. 
  11. Add 1/2 cup of water and let it boil.
  12. Add the Kasoori Methi and cook for 3 minutes.
  13. Add the  Paneer and boil.
  14. Serve hot with Rotis or Parathas.
