Stuffed Bread Pakoda

Craving for pakodas in raining season with tea?? Come to my place and enjoy this stuffed bread pakodas OR simply follow this recipe and make them home and give your friends a lovely treat....Packing them in a lunch box and have it at picnic spot with friends is the best options!!

YIELD –12 pakodas



For Filling:
Potato - 2 big size boiled and mashed
Paneer - 1/2 cup grated
Onion - 1 big grated
Chat masala - 1 tsp
Amchur Powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala Powder - 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

For Batter:
Besan - 1 cup
chili powder - 1 tsp
Asafotedia - a pinch
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste

Bread - 6 slices
Mint Chutney - 1 cup (look for Recipe HERE)
Oil for frying



  1. In a bowl mix the all feeling ingredients and mix well. keep aside.
  2. In another bowl mix all batter ingredients and add water to prepare a thick batter. (consistency should be like dosa batter). Keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  4. On a chopping board take one bread and cut it into two triangles.  
  5. Apply mint chutney on one triangle and spread the filling over it. Cover it with another triangle.
  6. Dip this triangle sandwich into a batter and coat it with batter properly.
  7. Fry this stuffed pakoda in a frying pan until it turns brown.
  8. Take them out on kitchen towel and cut it again in small triangle.
  9. Enjoy it hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup and hot masala tea.
