Herbal Rice

Herbal Rice really made with herbal spices and so I meant it to be herbal rice. I use to prepare this recipe very very rarely at times when anyone at home fall sick to relish the tastebud. This recipe suddenly came across in mind when Pratheeba from Cook- Ezee  who is currently hosting this month event  herbes & spices with the ingredient basil & cardamom . Thanks Julie for hosting such a wonderful event EP Series : Herbs & Spices. We are happy to link our Innovative and healthy recipe for this event.

Herbal Rice

Health Benefits :

I really don't want to confuse you with too many tips so I will give some simple benefits from each ingredient which  I used here for the recipe
Basil/Tulsi Leaves - is anti-oxidant and helps to relieve handache, cough, sore throat, mouth infection, boost immunity and for many ailments. That's why it is called as "Queen of Herbs"  worshipped and distributed as prasaad in Pilgrimages. I have one Tulsi plant at home from which my daughter use to pluck leaves everyday and munch it saying gods prasaad.  Is n't it??
Dry Ginger powder/ Sukku Podi- kills worms in stomach, helps to cure Jundice, apply a paste of sukku podi with water to reduce headache, increase appetite
Cardamom/Elachi-is called as "Queen of spices" is anti-oxidant helps prevent diseases and counteract acidity, heartburn, helps to get rid of stomach cramps too.
Cumin/ Jeera- helps improve memory, reduces insomnia(sleeping disorder),weight loss treatment, increase milk secretion for breast-feeding mother, helps in digestion (have with warm water).

To say about this recipe is quite simple, tasty, healthy and richy flavor. This is really a super quick preparation when you got ready with below ingredients. Let see what are they???
