El Chutney / Sesame Seeds Chutney
Sesame Seeds chutney is one of the condiments that goes best with any South Indian breakfast like idli, dosa, pongal or upma. It is also easy to make and so delicious. Make this easy to make sesame seeds chutney following the method given.
Coconut grated - 4 tbsp.
Urid dhall - 1 tsp.
Tamarind - 1 seed size
Dry red chilli - 2
Garlic - 1 clove
Salt - as per taste

YIELD – 1 cup
Ingredients:
Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp.Coconut grated - 4 tbsp.
Urid dhall - 1 tsp.
Tamarind - 1 seed size
Dry red chilli - 2
Garlic - 1 clove
Salt - as per taste
Method:
- Heat a wok and add urid dhall. When it is half way roasted add sesame seeds and when it starts spluttering add dry red chilli and put off the stove.
- Once it cools down, grind it in a mixer or processor coarsely.
- Add the remaining ingredients and grind it to a chutney with required water.
- Serve with any South Indian breakfast.
Note:
- You can also season it if you want.
