Schezwan Vegetables

Sizzle up any of your favourite vegetables dipped in a spicy Schezwan sauce. Serve Schezwan Vegetables with fried rice or hakka noodles and complete your meal in delicious Indo chinese cuisine. follow the recipe here.
Schezwan Vegetables

YIELD – 3 servings


Schezwan Sauce - 1 cup (check recipe here)
Carrot - 1 no. cut inot wedges
Baby corn - 1/2 cup 1" long sliced

Broccoli - 1/2 cup florets
Capsicum - 1 cup cut into wedges
Onion - 1 big size chopped
Garlic - 1 tbsp finely chopped
Salt as per taste
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Corn Flour - 1 tbsp 
Light soya sauce - 1 tsp


Schezwan Vegetables
  1. Parboiled all the vegetables (carrot, capsicum, broccoli, baby corn).
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and add garlic and onion. Saute until golden brown.
  3. Add all the vegetables along with salt.
  4. Add schezwan sauce, soya sauce, cornflour mixture(mix corn flour in a 1/4 cup of water), and sugar.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes. Schezwan vegetables are ready to serve with fried rice or hakka noddles.


Select your choice of vegetables according to your desire.
Adjust schezwan sauce as per your taste.
