Garlic Bread Recipe | Gread Bread Toast with 4 easy steps

Pasta or pizza seems incomplete without garlic bread. Make it easily at time with just four ingredients. Yes you only need baguette / french bread, some garlic, softened butter and some parsley to flavor it up. There are several methods  to make garlic bread, but this procedure is most simplest one. Just rub the garlic butter mixture on to the bread and  bake it in oven. Make it soft and toast as per your choice. I'm sure that you cannot stop by one after relishing this bread.

Preparation & Cooking Time : Under 30 minutes

YIELD : 8 Slices


Baguette / French  Bread - 1 loaf
Salted Butter - 125 gram,softened
Garlic - 5 cloves,smashed and minced
Fresh / Dried Parsley - 1 tbsp,chopped


Take one foot long baguette bread, cut into one inch thick diagonally, but do not go all through the way, just to the bottom. Baguette also known as french bread is readily available in all supermarkets or in  bakery shops.

Combine the softened butter, minced garlic and parsley. Mix well.

Spread the mixture in between the bread slices. 

Wrap in the aluminium foil. Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180 °C  for 15 minutes. Slice and serve.

You can follow the same to make toast using normal bread loaf. Spread the mixture on each bread loaf. 

Bake it in  the pre-heated oven at 180°C for 5-10 minutes and keep monitoring while broiling process to avoid turn to burn. Once the edges turns crispy. Remove and serve.


  • For variation you can add some grated Parmesan cheese and bake.
  • You can substitute freshly chopped coriander for parsley or dried parsley leaves.
  • Wrapping in the foil before bake yields soft garlic bread, in-order to avail garlic toast avoid wrapping it.
  • Try this way: Divide the baguette into two and apply the butter mixture evenly and then  bake it. Slice into 1 inch thickness and serve.
