Capsicum Paneer Ring

Capsicum Paneer Ring

YIELD –6-8 Rings


Capsicum - Each 1 Red, Yellow and Green
Corn Flour - 1/2 cup

For Filling
Paneer - 1 cup grated
Onion - 1 medium size (finely chopped)
Cilantro - 1 cup(finely chopped)
Bean sprout - 1/2 cup (roughly chopped)
Potato - 1 medium (boiled n mashed)
Salt as per taste
Sugar as per taste
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Curry Powder - 1 tsp
Chat Masala - 1 tsp
Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Capsicum Paneer Ring


  1. Dry roast fennel seeds, coriander seeds and cumin in a pan.  Make a powder using mixer.
  2. In a deep frying pan heat the few drops of oil and saute onion until golden brown.
  3. Add salt, sugar, curry powder, chat masala, chilli powder and above prepared powder. Keep it aside to cool.
  4. Once it is cool down add grated paneer, mashed potato, cilantro and lemon juice in it.
  5. Cut the thick rings of each capsicum. 
  6. Take one ring in a plate and fill the above prepared filling properly into it.
  7. Dust the ring from both sides with corn flour.
  8. Cook both the side of the ring in a hot griddle with low flame using oil until it turns golden brown.
  9. Repeat the procedure with all rings.
  10. Serve hot as a starter with your choice of Soup.
